From personal experience, Walmart and Walgreens have printed photos with off colors and printing lines. If you are going to hang something up proudly on your wall, I suggest making sure it's top quality. I use one of the best pro-printers in the country. It is a noticeable quality difference. Crisp, clear photo ready to frame.
The biggest factors are time and the quantity of photos back. Full sessions allow us to take our time, try out fun ideas and get more natural and candid photos. Minis are more direct since there is a shorter time booked and fewer photos back. While minis are a more budget-friendly option, most of my clients see more value in a full-session.
